Doctor Who
I'm currently making my way through Tom Baker's era right now and am on season fifteen. Now, I finally understand why he is a fan favorite. Usually, I try not to like the popular ones, but it's just not possible. Both him and Tennant are top-notch. Also, Elisabeth Sladen's character, Sarah Jane Smith was great too! Although I didn't see her farewell serial, I'm still content. Leela is a nice character as well. Contrary to Sarah Jane, I didn't see her first serial, but still enjoy her. Another companion I like seeing is K-9. Since it's the summer, I can sometimes watch up to three serials in a day, but I don't always do.
Firefly
This is my new fandom! Quite disappointed there's only one season, but it was a fantastic one. I'll be finishing it and the movie with my brother this week.
Panels
Watching panels is great, as your favorite actors/actresses are just being themselves and make you laugh. Time passes fast when I watch one of those, which has been happening a lot this week due to Firefly. Someday, I want to actually go to one.
Haircut
My father took me to get my hair cut this week. He used to cut my hair himself, but doesn't want to anymore because my hair is hard to cut. Last time, I was angry, as I didn't want to get my hair cut, but this time, I was fine. It was getting long, and it's better to do it now when there's still time 'til school. Hopefully it'll grow a decent amount when school starts.
Books
From the library this week, I got the graphic novel of Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters and The Time Machine by H.G. Wells. Soon, I'll need to pick up a copy of Isaac's Storm, the book I have to read for summer because of advanced English.

I have no idea what to put anymore for my journal titles.

I started college. Kind of been in a state of limbo for awhile now. Haven't been as active on dA as much recently. Don't know what else to say. Don't expect any artwork from me anytime soon. Well, that's it. Bye.

Thank you to anyone who wished me a happy birthday! I'm legally an adult now. :dummy: I still feel the same, though. I think my birthday this year was one of the dullest ones, but it was still alright. I just don't feel that excited for many things nowadays. I anticipated my birthday for months, but when the day came, I was just sort of like: :shrug:

for some reason i havent really like tom baker as much as i expected to... I figured I would love him since everyone likens him with Tennant, but he just doesn't keep my attention like troughton or hartnell did. He does have some hilarious moments though I do have to give him that. When he walks out of the back of the magician's box in "The Talons of Weng Chiang" I still lose it every time!
