It's officially spring, my favorite season! Today's the Spring Equinox, which makes it the first day of Spring. Google's front page is kind of neat today. However, the weather here sort of shifts randomly, so it's not your typical spring. Still, I like it. In addition, it's also International Day of Happiness. Anyway, here's my weekly journal, and as usual, read what catches your eye and comment if you'd like.

Saturday - Youth Rally
I had to wake up early on this day. After morning duties, my father drove me/us to this church, where he had signed me up for what they call a "Youth Rally," which is basically a religious gathering for young(er) people. Obviously, I didn't want to go, but didn't have a choice, as he already paid for it. On the drive up there, I got to watch the sun rise. It was nice!
Then, we finally arrived, and checking me in, my parents gave me the official shirt and badge. Since I didn't really have any friends there, I just sort of stood around or wandered pointlessly while trying to avoid my family. After an hour, they left, and the even started. First, they played some mini-games, and then the band played religious music. As for me, I was still mostly motionless, which was sort of awkward because everyone was cheering or acting like they were in a concert. There were some people that I knew that talked to me, however, which I'm grateful for. After that was probably the best part, as a priest gave his speech. We then ate lunch and listened to more speeches until confession and mass.
It had been almost twelve hours when the whole thing was done. My parents came to pick me up and we headed home. Rain was falling, which was beautiful, but it cleared out. A rainbow appeared, and that was the first time I saw a full rainbow, not just one end of it. The sky was also golden from the sun and clouds, making it seem radioactive or something. It was really neat because half of the sky was dark while the other was a great sunset. All this time, I had a headache and was tired, but stayed up to see this amazing sight! Overall, it was one of if not the best sunset I've seen. The experience from the event was eye and soul opening as well.
Sunday - Positivism
Due to what happened yesterday, I was a bit more positive today. Usually, I don't like Sundays, but today wasn't so bad. Plus, I got my month of premium that morning, too, although I couldn't use it until I got home. I just went to bible school and then church. After that, we went straight home (instead of the mall), and I just relaxed and then watched Cosmos.
Monday - Return
No one wants to go to school after they've had a break, including me. Still, I had to go, and it wasn't all that bad. Honestly, it just felt like I was there yesterday. The teachers already started giving us homework and such, and I once again adjusted to this life.
Tuesday - People
This day was pretty much the same (all my days sort of are). I had to present my PowerPoint in Spanish, though. Previously, I had worked with my friend to do a five page paper and a fifteen slide PowerPoint. To be honest, I sort of did most of it. On the day before our presentation, I went to his house after school (which is sort of unusual for me). We made the food from our chosen country and then just waited. Overall, I had a good time. He drove me home (because he's in his last year of high school) and I thanked him. The next day, he didn't bring the food because it was all liquid and practically rotten. Of course, it wasn't really his fault, but I was a little sad. Hopefully my teacher doesn't lower my/our grade too much.
Wednesday & Thursday
More school and homework ... I had a test and an essay on Wednesday, and another test on Thursday.

Username (IridescentCatalyst)
The reason I chose this new username is because I was inspired by two Linkin Park songs, "Iridescent" and "The Catalyst," which I highly recommenced, especially the first one. Anyway, another reason was due to school. We had iridescent as a vocab word, and though I already knew it, I loved it more. As for "catalyst," it was from a speech my Spanish teacher gave. He said that we shouldn't try to become other things or people, but rather, be "catalysts." This means we should use our skills and talents to inspire people. Instead of transforming into someone we're not, we should try to find out roots. Plus, the combination sounds nice.
Britt Nicole
I've been listening to her, and her music is good. "Gold" and "All This Time" are my favorites.
Doctor Who Movie
On Sunday, I saw this, and it was nice. Although not completely amazing, I'm glad to have dived deeper into Doctor Who history and legacy. Now I know what the Eighth Doctor does and how he acts. He deserves more than just a movie and mini-episode.
Procrastination
Lately, I've been much lazier, probably due to the computer. Now, I hardly do anything else. As for homework, I usually do enough, but much less than last year. My grades are still high, though, which is good. I don't read or play games as much, though.
The Maze Runner Trailer
This is my favorite book, so when the movie trailer came out on Monday, it was awesome! I can't wait until September!
Old Friend
On Facebook, one of my old friends from middle school found me. I haven't had contact in about half a decade, but it was nice to speak to him once more. He's a new Whovian (or he at least has started watching the show), and a good person overall. This is one of the good things about Facebook.
Social Media
Speaking of Facebook, my news feed is comprised of mostly Doctor Who photos, some quotes and stuff from friends. I don't really get on Twitter as much.

Sure, it's not bad, but not completely mind blowing, either. It feels nice having it, though.

It's been months...
I started college. Kind of been in a state of limbo for awhile now. Haven't been as active on dA as much recently. Don't know what else to say. Don't expect any artwork from me anytime soon. Well, that's it. Bye.
Summer Points Giveaway (CLOSED)!
Just comment below and I'll divide up my points after a certain amount of time. Also, welcome new watchers! Sorry I rarely upload.
El Fin
Thank you to anyone who wished me a happy birthday! I'm legally an adult now. :dummy: I still feel the same, though. I think my birthday this year was one of the dullest ones, but it was still alright. I just don't feel that excited for many things nowadays. I anticipated my birthday for months, but when the day came, I was just sort of like:
I think I barely passed my AP exams. :paranoid: Only time will tell. I get my results in July. :eager:
As for my computer exams, I passed them both and am now a certified technician! :la: I'm so proud. Below are my certificates. 90% of our class got the first certificate, as it was an easier te
Update
Hello!
Some of you may not have seen my recent uploads because I put them in my scraps (because I don't deem them worthy enough of an actual deviation), so here they are:
I also had these two things in my scraps from awhile back:
I'm working on some fan art, so if all goes well, you should see that artwork soon.
Anyway, in my life, I got my driver's license and decided on a college. My dad also set up a bank account for me. It all makes me feel all grown up. Sometimes I don't want to be an adult. Next week, I'll be taking my big tests (I'm procrastinating so much), and it'll be May, which means less than a month 'til graduation (and even

I was wondering if that was the inspiration for your username, because those two songs where exactly what I thought of when I read it.
Also, I didn't know a 'catalyst' had that meaning. I only knew it meant that it speeds up a chemical reaction and remains unchanged. xD
Just a side note- I kind of went on a hiatus off of dA so thats why I didn't comment on anything until today xD
